The NHS Appointments Commission has reappointed
Alan Tolhurst as Chair of Rotherham Primary Care Trust (PCT) for a further
four year term.
Mr Tolhurst’s reappointment as Chair of
the Trust Board is effective from 1st January 2005 to 31st December
2009. He was first appointed as Chair of the PCT when it was established
on 1st April 2002. The appointment carries a salary of £21,882.

Rotherham Primary Care Trust is seeking patients with chronic long-term
conditions who would be interested in developing the skills to self-manage
their condition more effectively. The Expert Patient Programme is designed
for people suffering from chronic conditions such as arthritis, asthma,
haemophilia, heart disease, stroke, manic depression, diabetes, mellitus
or endometriosis who would like to learn more about how they can self-manage
their illness alongside the help they receive from health care professionals.
